Recruitment and Marketing Strategic Plan
Goal: To effectively promote St. Peter Chanel School with the overall intention of
increasing enrollment.

2009-2010 Accomplishments
  • Updated the website to include more information for prospective families, including tuition information and rate
  • Re-designed the new family/prospective family information folder
  • Gathered feedback and input from SPC families through the accreditation survey 
  • Showcased our school & promoted our Spring Festival to the business community by hosting a table at the annual St. James Parish small business appreciation banquet (in conjunction w/CHASA)
  • Mass postcard mailer advertising open house
  • Re-designed our logo to better represent who we are (implemented the cross)
  • Outsourced the printing of the alumni newsletter which resulted in increased efficiency in producing the newsletter and better quality of printing
  • Support for and involvement in the Captial Campaign from Fr. Vincent & Fr. Mark  Blessed with increased involvement at our school and support for Catholic education from our pastor and associate pastor
Re-occuring Events
  • Catholic schools week activities on the Eastbank & Westbank
  • "Bearly Recruiting"program for all newly baptized infants in the cluster - sent Christmas cards & birthday cards Friends Day for prospective students
2010-2011 Action Items
  • Complete the new website by August 2010
  • Continue to spread our good news to the community through the New-Examiner and Catholic Commentator
  • Compile a "style guide" to serve as a reference for faculty and staff in our branding process as we seek to increase our visibility and establish a consistent, quality image in the community
  • Implement a program, consisting of a postcard mailer, to recognize former students for their accomplishments once they leave SPC
